How do I uninstall the new Yahoo Messenger Vista Beta version?

I know a lot of you say go to your control panel I know how to do that BUT when I do click uninstall nothing happens. It just freezes my laptop and when I try to click uninstall again this message says "Please wait for the selected program to finish un installing or changing" and it just freezes. I had no problem with the Yahoo Messenger 9.0 but uninstalled that thinking it will help with the uninstallation for Beta version. That didn't work!! Can someone help me? Oh and Vista doesn't automatically start up when I start up my laptop either. Thanks!

If you are usings windows click on the start button

then "help and support"

then "system restore"

when that opens pick a date before you downloaded the Beta version

and then just follow the instructions - this will remove the Beta version and revert you to the old system

(one quick word of caution if you have downloaded any other programmes since then that you want to keep make a note of them so that you can download them again after the system restore)

The method above applies in windows xp - in other windows system it may be slightly different but hopefully you will be able to find the system restore button!
