What is the different between emo ,scene kid,goth and punk?
ok so i know lauds of ppl in my school : emo,goth,punk,and some call them self scene kids. what are they ?
do goths believe in satan?if not , who are the ones that do believe in satan?

The number of people who have complete misconceptions about 'those weird kids with the funny hair' astounds me, it really does. Every time I'm on YA someone asks a question about alternative kids and there is major douchebaggery in the answers. So you're gonna get a lot of 'they all hate themselves and god and everything and they all want to die they're boring i ahte them rargh rargh rargh'.
Emo kids listen to emo music, obviously, and also some punk and metalcore. They like to have side partings and they often wear really tight clothing. Some of them have piercings. Scene kids are similar but they tend to add more colour and listen to cheerier music. Not always though.
Punk has been around the longest. Originally it was about anarchy and rebellion against the current status quo, but now it's often really watered down. Punks have extreme hairstyles, make their own clothes and sometimes they're straight edge. They're often quite political too, at least, the ones we have here in England are.
Goths tend to express themselves through clothing rather than hairstyle and attitude- they're not so emotional as the other groups because they use artistic things to convey emotion rather than letting it out any old how. They don't believe in Satan- most of them are atheist, agnostic or pagan and some are also Christian. They're pretty nice- if they stick with being goth past the age of 15 that is 
The adult goths are very nice people, as are the old punks.
The people that believe in an actual entity called Satan aren't goths, they're Theistic Satanists... although most people who say they're devil worshippers or whatever are either crazy or saying it to impress/scare people.
