Alternative to polirized glasses for night time driving?
Ok ive got my polirized prescpition glasses,which is much better than my sunglasses i had for driving
Obivoulsy i cant wear them when i drive at night

When i was talking to me optician about polirized glasses he was telling me the antiglare glasses cuts down the glare,where polirized glasses cuts glare right out
its the glare of the headlights that are bad for me,the light can be blinding

Someone told me that anti-glare is the same as anti reflection?
I thought it was two different coatings
Glare is what you get from the sun or bright lights. It is cut down by either tinting your lens or getting polarized lens (which in addition to the tint also cuts out scattered light from horizontal surfaces). There is no such thing as an 'anti-glare' coating though an anti reflective coating is often called this by mistake.
The best lens you can get for night driving is prescription lens with an antireflective coating on it as this will cut down on haloes and reflections you may otherwise get from headlights. Hope this helps.
