About the length of t-shirts?
Why is it that some t-shirts I buy fit great length wise and others are very long? I wear xlarge or xxlarge and would like to know why these sizes are so long in length? Can anybody in the business of men's retail clothing answer this question for me? Maybe what companies that make t-shirts can do is make the length shorter for those of us that are 5'11'' and not 6' and above in height. I have to wear xlarge or xxlarge because I am built and not because I am tall. It sucks because most of the time I encounter this problem while shopping for graphic tees or even polo style shirts. What sucks even more is that I have to have them altered most of the time by my seamstress!
It all has to do with the size of your torso in proportion with the width and height. Unfortunately the only thing you can really do is get a custom shirt. Most shirts are just made for the "regular" guy with no regards to any one else's special requests. Sometimes a tailor can go and fix them but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend!
