How do you know if someone is the one for you? - We can't KNOW this. Just as we can't KNOW if our good friend will always be part of our lives. Time and experience/s will tell if the person one is with will be a partner for the long-haul.

How do you trust someone? - I trust people based on my observations and experiences with them.

Do you go for looks or personality? - Both, but personality is the most important factor. Degrees of attraction are essential. Otherwise, it is only friendship.

Do your political beliefs matter in a relationship? - If political beliefs are an important aspect of one's life, then yes. To me, some political beliefs are more flexible than others.
