Hey well over the past 3 months I have gained a lot of weight. I am 18 years old. Pretty much all of my life I have been under weight and very thin. However I gained 40+ pounds in a really short period of time. My feet have been killing me. Is this due to the sudden weight gain and my feet are getting accustomed to supporting the weight? It hurts to walk from class to class at school. The pain is on the ball of my feet and the heel. At night when I am going to bed, my feet throb as I just lay there. How can I help relieve this pain and should I go to the doctors? I have also bought those memory foam insoles for my feet are those good?

It's called Plantar Fasciitis. It can be acute or chronic. I didnt take it seriously when it first happened to me and as a result I have had it for years, it's awful. I would see a Dr because you probably need to stay off your feet for awhile to give them a break and you might need some help with pain as well. Here are a couple of links:
