Hey, i am new at snowboarding, but i really enjoy skiing, and i want to give snowboarding a try. I was just wondering if someone could give me a sense of what gear would fit me best. Like im not sure what difference between junior and men's is, like is junior little kids? teens? what age does it generally include. I am 15 years old and about 5'7" any help is really appreciated!

well snowboarding is alot more of a fashionable sport than skiing. and go with mens sizes. youll look stupid if your wearing kids gear. burton has pretty much anything you would want with gear but some other popular brands depend on what the product is. like for a hat id go with burton or neff. and for a shell id go for burton or volcom. or anything on Zumiez.com that looks cool. Gloves are best from Grenade Gloves or Burton. Boots are great from DC, K2, or burton. stick to a burton,k2,ride,or lib tech board. burton bindings are the best.
But remember most of all. Snowboarding is a Renegade Sport so the way to fit in is to stand out. your gear should reflect your personal style and your individuality.
if you buy something from Burton, K2, North Face, Patagonia, DC, Volcom, Grenade, Neff, ect. (name brands) then itll be good quality the only question is what you think looks cool.
