Is there a UVA and UVB - rich product I can add to my favorite moisturizer for full skin protection?
I have a favorite moisturizer with lots of good qualities, but it has only 8 SPF and no UVA protection. Full-spectrum creams 15 and over are usually only sunscreen lotions, goopy, and don't have any of the special qualities for skin I like in my moisturizer. If I use both, my face looks like an oil slick. If anyone knows of a product that I can mix in, and where I can get it, I'd be happy and my morning routine would be simpler. Thanks!
Thanks for the first 3 comments, now I know I need a new, full-spectrum moisturizer (goodbye, wonderful Boots No. 7!, hello new brand!) OK, so what then would be a good, not-goopy, UVA-UVB blocking product that can do double duty as moisturizer AND sunblock, for older skin with no acne problems? I'd like it if it did something BESIDES moisturize, either an antioxidant or peptide effect. My skin looks 10+ years younger and I'd like to keep it that way.

if you mix the 2 products together to be applied as one, the uvb and uva protection will also decrease.
we're actually encouraged to use a sunscreen lotion separately and only to apply make up after 3-5 minutes of applying sunscreen lotion so that the protection level wouldnt be affected.
perhaps you can find a sunscreen lotion light enough for you? i'm using ZA true white day protector which offers me a spf 26+++ and also ZA tinted moisturiser which gives me another spf 10.
