Wallet Metal Chain
What do i do?
Alright well first off im 15 and im a freshmen in highschool and theres these people who dont like me for how i look and how i dress. How i usually dress is Tight black Shirt usually with a metal band such as "All That Remains" "As I Lay Dying" or others and i usually wear bull head jeans from pac sun with a sutdded belt and a chained wallet. I have Semi long platinum blond hair (its my natural color) And im not considered ugly by most girls i hear things such as im average cute or hott usually average or decent looking but i get better compliments sometimes. Im also 5'11. I also get im intimidating also i guess its by how i dress? i normally dont act fear ful and but me and my friends so mess around in the hall way by like punching each other and stuff. I dont know what to do. anyone wanna help. What should i do to make people stop being like this towards me...
The answer, unfortunately, is that there is nothing you can do to make everyone like you or stop each and every person who might have something nasty to say from doing so.
Particularly in high school, people tend to be spiteful and mean to one another, and whether you're attractive or not really doesn't have anything to do with that.
The only course a person can really take in a situation like that is to be as nice as he can to those around him (without being a pushover, though), accepting of other people's differences, and confident in who he is.
If you like the way you look, if you are comfortable with yourself, even while the rest of the world hates it, that's all that matters.
Just stay true to your own personality and and treat others the way you would wish to be treated. As for those who criticize: ignore them. Paying attention to their negative opinions about you can do no good.
