i am going to go to the american idol tour concert, and i was wondering how they work
if like before or after the idols sing autographs and if you have to have a backstage ticket or just any info would help!

You don't need a backstage pass to get autographs, it'd just be way easier if you did.
Before and after the show, some of the the Idols come out to the barricades by the tour buses,..Adam NEVER comes out before shows, but he tries to afterwards. Michael is always out before shows, and Matt & Kris &Danny usually are. Everyone else depends on whether they have press that day. The signings before the shows are much less rushed, and you're more likely to be able to get pictures with the Idols, afterwards pictures are really hard to get because the Idols have to be back on their busses by midnight.
The best way to get stuff signed is to get there EARLY. If you're right up against the barricades it'll be alot easier.
Many people leave during or before the last group song- Don't Stop Believing- to get a good spot by the barricades.
