Omg I struggle with them. It takes me forever to get my foot in and lace them up. Easiest way to put converse high tops on without the struggle? i have to like losen both sets of laces all the way to the bottom shove my foot in and tighten them all again..annoying.
I did have the same problem. This may not resolve it for you, but it did for me: I take out three sets of the laces (six in all) then just take the shoes off. Whenever I put them back on, it's really easy and only takes about a minute to lace the laces back up. This should get quicker for you with time if you don't care about the laces being perfectly straight and stuff. I've been doing it for awhile and I just add it to my normal routine (as my hair straightener is warming up, I put my shoes on). You may not have to unlace three, just enough to get your foot in and out comfortably. I NEVER losen the laces, just completely take them out. Hope this helps!
