An eyeglass repair shop is 15 days late on repairing a pair of sunglasses for me in Mexico.
Its taken them 25 days so far to repair the lenses.
I have to catch a flight in 2 days and the sunglasses will not be back in time. The eyeglass store; opticas espadas, one of the largest retails in Mexico refuses to give me money to buy the same sunglasses. The sunglasses are worth $350
I figured they are at a legal obligation to replace or refund me moneys to replace the sunglasses as they are 15 days + over the repair time, or am I just dreaming?
You may be dreaming but without knowing the reason for the delay or seeing the ticket from when you left them for repairs it is impossible to Guess. The establishment has a duty to perform according to the contract/ticket conditions but it may take a lawsuit to enforce it.}{
