Flip Flops Sandals
Can you fail if you wear flip flops or sandals to your road test in new york?
A friend of mines has her road test on thursday at Starret City New York, She bumped her big toe , so she cant wear shoes/ sneakers,will wearing flip flops or sandals affect the test
Well , she passed her road test,with 0 points , she said the the Woman examiner didnt even looked at her, After the test the examiner told her thats its a long time , that she had some one who had no negative points
Well, the test does not depend on what shoes you were. If you want to know whether you will fail, or if the instructor will fail you for wearing flip flops the answer is no. The driving instructor is more concerned with how well you follow the rules, and how if you maneuver the car correctly without making any mistakes. Now I will say that it is not the best idea to wear flip flops. The reason is, flip flops don't give you the proper foot support to utilize the gas or brake pedal. If her foot should slip then it may cause her to press the wrong pedal and make a mistake or cause an accident. Flip flops are not forbidden but its not best for the right foot support. So I suggest that she re-schedule if she can or just brave the test even with the injury.
