i like dark colors and im 2 afraid to tell my grandparents and my parents! well my parents no but not my grandparents they would think its a sin! but i do believe in god! Well I think you can have dark colors, as long as it doesnt look entirely Gothic - so instead try mixing dark and bright colors for a sophisticated look - just tell them you want a mature room that looks like one of these, check them out and take ideas of colors and room styles:
These rooms have dark colors but other accents so it doesnt look scary but mature and something you'll love forever - if you do a skulls theme now, eventually you'll grow out of that phase and you'll need to redo your room all over again.
