I'm looking for a movie where a girl pretends to be a knight ?

I'm looking for this movie for quite a long time. It's a very old movie. I remember there was definitely a girl who was pretending to be a knight. She met another male knight and he challenged her to a life and death dual. Obviously, she won but she didn't kill him and let him go. Later he finds out that she is a female and they fall in love. I also think they were fighting a creature in a cave.
It's definitely not Mulan. The movie is not animated.
