Is Aeroflot a good airline to use when flying from america to the middle east?
I also have to wait in Russia for 4 hours for a connecting flight. I've seen the reviews but it seems it depends on the flight you take. I've also heard their english is very bad and they can be very unhelpful. Not to mention I dont know anything in Russian except yes or no.
AeroFlot is a Russian airline... Russia has no relations and similarities to the United States and the Middle East. Considering that, that is a reason for the bad English. I am a flight attendant and I know then when there are flights to countries that my airline does not have close connections with, it is sometimes too difficult to speak with a person that does not speak English, Spanish, or French. For example: When American flight attendants are working flight to Korea or Greece, it will be too time consuming to try to accommodate every non-english speaking Korean or Greek passenger... It would slow me and other flight attendants down a lot. That is the reason that they are unaccommodating. I would suggest that you fly with a Middle Eastern Airline( Qatar Airways, Emirates, Gulf Air, MEA, Air Egypt, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Royal Air Maroc) a European airline( KLM, BritishAirways, Lufthansa) or an American Airliens
FYI I am a very friendly flight attendant no matter what even if it is too difficult to successfully communicate with other passengers
FYI: airlines in the Middle East provide the best customer service and ALL FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WITH MIDDLE EASTERN AIRLINES SPEAK PERFECT AND PROPER ENGLISH (even moreso than some americans lol)
