School Oversize
BACK TO SCHOOL OVERSiZED TOTE!!?
i go back to school next week and i need an over sized tote for school.
it needs to be big enough to fit at least 2 notebooks and a text book and some other small stuff.
and it needs to be durable.
does anyone have an suggestions of places to look, like a website or a store.
or even a bag that you've used that works really well?
I have tons of totes used for carrying around books during school. After/before school I divide my load between my tote and my North Face Jester, which is the sturdiest backpack you can ever get.
Generally, Abercrombie (Fitch or Kids, doesn't matter) has huge totes made of thick cotton. I have a red one (one of the rectangular ones, not the huge roundish ones) from 2006 and it's lasted two years (and still looks new)...And I carry more books than you. Usually I carry around 1-2 binders and a textbook in it and I still have ample room for my cell phone, a few notebooks, and a water bottle.
Hollister's a similar store so it should have nice large totes.
You could also try Target, Aeropostale, or Pacsun...But I'm hesitant about buying from these places because they probably will not last as long as Abercrombie's. Or you could try TJMaxx, which will have brand name, oversized totes (lots of choices there) that will definitely last a long time.
American Eagle's good too. I haven't carried any of their totes but they're cute and pretty decently priced since they usually have 20% off coupons out. Good quality at AE in general too.
If you get Abercrombie totes on sale, they're about $15-$25. Regular priced, they're about $40. I'd wait for a sale, you won't have to wait long and they're at about half the price.

Right now there aren't any clearance totes at either of the Abercrombie stores but that'll soon change.

If you buy from Abercrombie or Hollister, I'd get one of the squarish totes...The big round ones are waaay too big and look disproportionate when girls carry them around.
