I've been with him for 4 months and yesterday he came in with a shirt on that was making fun of Obama and we started talking and he is a 100% conservative Republican, he's basically Sarah Palin in male form, he just hits out with all this BS that makes no sense!
What should I do, should I try and teach him how WRONG he is or just leave him? Everything else about him is perfect! He is from Vermont as well I thought people from Vermont were more like Canadians!
If you've been happy together for 4 months, then just ignore it. I have dated liberal, libertarian, conservative and moderate people.
If politics are important to you. don't talk politics with him!
You will find that there are many more conservative and moderate people in the US than liberal.
Liberal is a minority here.
