Does The Material Of Ballet Shoes/Slippers Stretch To Take The Shape Of Your Feet?
I'm asking this question because my feet are a size 8 halfway to a size 9 (UK sizes) so I would want to know if ballet shoes stretch because my feet aren't able to wear size 9 as while I am dancing they'd be coming out. So yeah, I was wondering if ballet shoes stretch to take the shape of my feet? Thank You!
P.S: I am talking about actual ballet shoes that ballet dancers wear.
Leather does stretch. However, your ballet slipper should fit snugly. Not so snug so your toes curl under, but they should fit very snugly. Canvas wont stretch much. Both leather and canvas will mold to your foot in either case.
