Im a texas longhorns fan. tech beat baylor so would it be good for Ou to lose to Oklahoma St?
If OU wins:
if they win the big 12 title game they go to the BCS title
If they lose the Big 12 Title game Texas/Tech goes to the title game
If OU loses:
Tech goes to the Big 12 title game and wins then tech OR texas goes to the BCS title
Tech loses the Big 12 title game UT goes to the BCS title?
So what would be the best scenario for the longhorns because these are just guesses of what will happen.
The best scenario before the OU/OSU game would have been a loss by OU, followed by Missouri beating Tech in the Big 12 Championship.
Since OU beat OSU, now they have to hope OU loses to Missouri in the title game, leaving the BCS to decide whether to take, UT, USC, or Tech to play the SEC champ for the National title.
There is also a small chance that if OU wins, and Alabama loses, that Texas could finish above Florida in the BCS, and set up Texas/OU rematch for the National Championship, due to the fact that currently the computer rankings have UT 2nd, and Florida 6th. I think it's a longshot, but not inpossible.
They might still have a chance, but USC could sneak past them there, just like OU did after this past weekend.
