Okay. they say they want us to embrace everyone as individuals and such right?

So why is it that I'm getting a lot of complaints that i befriended a 'redneck" kid?
He's just like anyone else. I don't even know why they call him a redneck to be honest.
He's nice, open-minded and everything.
Is there a different meaning for the word and I'm just unaware?

Anyway, he wears the Dixie Outfitters' shirts and stuff; and people automatically assume he's a racist, it's horrible.

He's such a nice guy, i don't understand why people make such a big deal that we're friends!

Do you think it's wrong that i accept him as a human being instead of judging him based on his heritage and taste in clothing?

i think that people are very quick to judge something when they don't understand it. there is so much misinformation out there that many just assume by one look who and what someone is. kudos to you for looking beyond the outside of a person to the inside. if there were more of you two, the world would be a much better place.
