do people bring handbags and purses to high school or backpacks?
cuz my frends are saying a lotta freshmans think that ur suppose to bring purses to school so they bring purses and they look and everyone has backpacks. and its the other way around.

Unless you want to go to your locker in between all your classes to switch books (or carry them all around in your arms all day) I would recommend bringing a backpack so you can carry all the books you need with you comfortably. You can bring a purse too for your personal stuff like wallet, cell phone, make up, tampons, etc. and keep that in your backpack when you don't need it. When I was in high school everyone had a backpack for all their books and homework, and some girls had purses for their "girly" stuff. You aren't "supposed" to bring a purse, nor are you "supposed" to bring a backpack. Bring whatever is going to make it easiest for you to carry all your books around. Who cares if backpacks are "ugly", they make it easier to carry all your stuff around - and besides, you can find backpacks that have cute designs on them, you just have to actually look for them.
