Should I start feeding my dog puppy food?
My dog is now around 6 and a half weeks pregnant, should I start feeding her puppy food and when should I start feeding it to her? The last time she was pregnant she did'nt have enough milk to feed all her puppies so would feeding her puppie food increase her milk supply?
And for those saying bring her to the vet she just came home from the vet and they said nothing.
if she was having problems the first time, and you dont know how to deal with them properly, why did you breed her again??

when pups are born, energy needs can be 2 to 3 times their normal food requirement—depending on litter size—to produce the milk to nourish the pups. Be sure your nursing mom has plenty of water so she can generate the milk volume she needs to feed the litter.
you can start feeding her puppy food now, and keep it up while she is nursing to encourage milk production. feed her three smaller meals throughout the day rather than one big meal once a day... and remember she needs more food than normal.
get her to a VET for her regular checkups while pregnant, then SPAY your dog before you kill her and/or her pups with your ignorance.
