My great dane puppy has an umbilical hernia and a surgery is suggested, how bad is it for danes to have this?
We have adopted only 2 weeks ago, and a visit to the vet revealed she had an umbelical hernia and needs immediate surgery, can any1 tell me how bad it is for great dane puppies to have situation and how safe is it to go for the surgery and wat are the repurcussions / side effects in such cases.
It isn't usually a big deal. You should have the surgery done if the vet recomends it. If it is a large hernia you should have it done as soon as possible.
