Do 6 Month Old Babies Need Socks On All The Time?
HI everyone...I live in New Orleans, La and I have a set of 6 month old twins (boy/girl). Its been hot lately and I normally dress them with a onesie and pants, but no socks. My mother disagrees with my choice of them not having socks on and we came to a disagreement about it one morning.
Our weather has been changing and I've been sick from work, and the kids have a case of the sniffles and a cough. She belives they are like this because they don't wear socks... Most of the time they pull them off anyways, so I just keep them off or let them play with the socks that would have been on their feet anyways...
What should I do about her critisizing me and my sock-less choice?
She also disagrees with the fact that I don't seperate the baby clothes (colors/whites) when I wash them... What do you guys think about that... All suggestions and answers are accepted... Thanks for your opinion and time...
My daughter hates wearing socks but here in Europe it's still cold so I try to keep them on on her. Just keep checking if their feet are cool, if not, they will be fine.
I never separate the clothes when washing. No point. Tell your mum that you appreciate her opinion but you want to learn how to be a parent on your own. Good luck
