Is it bad to keep mittens or socks on a babys hands all the time?
My baby is 5 wks old an since she was in hospital she's been wearing socks or her hands. ( the elastic keeps them on as the mittens always fall off) mad i know lol. i'm a 1st time mother, and am absolutley terrified to cut them, my mothe in law cut them for me last week but there still a little sharp and she sticks her finger in her eyes too. Do you think it's any harm havin them covered all the time?
I think it is good for them to use their hands - hold your fingers etc . . .
My twins are 4 months old and I have never cut their nails - I am terrified of accidentally cutting their fingers. Just use a nail file - very easy to do especially if they are napping.
