MTG: what are some good cards to draw cards in green or white?
im building a multiplayer green white deck based on token creatures. it looks great but right now i don't see how i can draw enough cards. how can i draw more cards with green, white or a combination of green & white?
and how can i multiply or otherwise improve an army of 1/1 white soldiers, 1/1 green snakes or 2/2 green wolves ?
Since you've a token decks, it mean you will have a lot of creatures (they maybe small) faster then your opponent, if so, you can consider the following cards.
1. Collective Unconscious: Draw a card for each creature you control.
2. Glimpse of Nature: this works magic in a turbo elf deck.
3. Harmonize: cheap in casting for green and cheap in $$ than Collective and Glimpse
4. Regal Force: works similar to Glimpse of Nature
5. Carnage Altar: when you have so many tokens, you won't mind losing a few.
6. Culling Dais: load up charger when you have to trump block, blow up the Dais when you need cards.
7. Jayemade Tome: You only need 1 to 2 copy since you won't have spare many for the draw early game. You only want to draw mid to late game.
8. Mind's Eye: not bad
9. Pyrexian Vault: Another version of Carnage Altar.
10. Tower of Fortunes: multiplayer games tend to be longer so 8 mana is acutually OK.
Improve your army:
1. Coat of Arms: if you have 3x 1/1 white human soldiers token, each of them get +2/+2. (Note: CoA counts number of creatures not number of creature types.)
2. White tokens: Honor of the Pure or Glorious Anthem
3. Green tokens: Gaea's Anthem
4. Wolf tokens: Wren's Run Packmaster: Give deathtouch to your wolves. Master of the Hunt: green direct damage!
5. Green/White: Tolsmir Wolfblood or Wilt-Leaf Liege- pumps both green and white creature
Multiply army:
1. Doubling Season: you double the number tokens you would put into play either by spells or abilities.
2. Rhys the Redeemed: another way to double number of tokens
