Just lost my beloved pair of Ray Ban(brown fade lenses) that i really enjoyed. Before i go out and get another pair just wanted to see what everyone's opinions were.
Not going with Oakley, just too bulky for my face. I plan on going to a Sunglass Hut to try some on but its not like i can demo them on the water or golf course. I'm looking for some input as to which company's technology cuts through the glare off the water the best, which color lenses are preferred for fishing.

for specifics, i am a flats fisherman ....period....i spend every available hour i can fishing in the gas flats and 3 island in laguna madre, south padre island, TEXAS. when i can't make it down there i take my kayak to port aransas/corpus christi and traverse the mangro mazes. I don't go off-shore, i really prefer to spot/sight and stalk the fish in the shallows. I'll take the reds and trout, anything else is all you:)

I got two sampled to me by our 3M rep and keep one in the tackle box and one in the car. Personaly I like the grey lenses and not the mirror type. I like light weight and I like shatter proof. Have you ever set the hook and had the leadhead come flying out of the water and the fish with the swimbait still in its mouth and then at the last second you turned in time for the lead head to almost hit you in the head, you'll know why shatterproof is important.
