Why do people call Avril a poser?
I skate and I get that stupid sk8r Boi song is really inaccurate but how does that make her a poser? I thought you had to pretend you skated to be a poser. Can someone clear up the confusion.
Look i get that she doesn't skate but how does that make her a poser? I just want to know if she is trying to make her self look like a skater or what?
Avril is a poser because she originally wanted to be a country music singer. She grew up singing country styled songs and thats what her goal was, to be a country singer. She competited country music singing competitions and at the age of 10 she performed on stage with country singer shania twian. She sent in videos of herself to several record labels and was continuously rejected. Finally, she was signed. Her record label gave her that "punk skater" image so that she could sell albums. Looking rebel was cool at the time. What you see is not not really her its all an act. Thats why she is a poser.
