ring width of scope question?
So i'm looking for a red dot sight for my mini 14. So far the optics i've found say this for ring size "Max 30 mm (1.2")" Does this mean it will fit in 1 inch rings? Btw i'm looking at aimpoint sights.
You would have to purchase 30mm rings for this to fit your gun. This may present a small problem if your mini 14 is the newer version with the Ruger style integrated scope mounting points. It will more than likely be a lot more expensive to buy 30mm rings that will fit this as compared to Weaver or piccatinny style mounts.
