What brand of shoes do you buy your kids?

Do you buy them name brand shoes or do you buy them the cheaper ones? If you buy cheaper ones, do you buy yourself name brand?
I'm just curious. I buy my kids name brand shoes most of the time, but if they like something that's not a name brand i will buy it for them. But I have noticed a lot of parents at my kids' schools wear name brand shoes while their kids don't.
Currently, my 5 year old has Skechers, my 2½ year old has a Payless brand that has Dora on them, and my 1½ year old has Nike's. I usually wear basic black $3 flip flops from Old Navy during spring/summer, and New Balance sneakers when it gets cold.
