My son's school photo was left out of his yearbook. Actually, he's not in there anywhere at all. I ordered a yearbook, as does every parent, so they can see pictures of their child, not just for everyone elses. I contacted the advisor, and recieved the basic response of " Please tell your child I'm sorry. We proofed it, but things slip through the cracks". Fair enough, but I didn't spend $25 for an apology. What would be an appropriate way to ask for a refund? Either full or partial. I don't want to be rude and have problems with this lady. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you deal with it? The advisor is just at the school on a part-time basis, so all contact seems to be through email.
My son wants to keep his book to remember his friends and get their signatures and comments.
It's not about the refund. It's about the "Oops. Sorry." sort of comment from the advisor. I'm just a little bent over the fact that it happened.
